How Much Does Wedding Photography Cost in Punta Cana?
You have picked the resort, the date and the dress. You have imagined the aisle, the first kiss and the dance floor under the lights. Then comes a practical question that every engaged couple asks sooner or later: what should we budget for photography?
Your photos are what you keep when the flowers fade and the cake is gone. So it is worth understanding what shapes the price before you book. Here is what affects the cost, what our packages include, and why the photographer you choose at your resort matters.
Wedding Photography Prices in Punta Cana: The Short Answer
Every wedding is different, so WBA Studio builds your quote around your resort, your date and the coverage you want. Prices change with coverage hours and whether you add video. Tell us your resort and date and we will get back to you with a quote.
What Affects the Cost of Wedding Photography in Punta Cana
Coverage hours. A short session costs less than full-day coverage from getting ready through the reception.
Photo only or photo and video. WBA Studio photographs and films weddings. Adding a film means more time, more equipment and more editing.
Number of photographers. A second photographer captures two moments at once, such as both getting-ready rooms.
Your resort. At hotels where we are not the exclusive vendor, the resort’s vendor fee is paid in addition to your photography package.
Extras and add-ons. Additional hours, albums and special sessions all change your total, so it helps to decide on them early.
What a WBA Studio Wedding Package Includes
Our photography packages range from 1.5 hours to 7 hours of coverage. Depending on the package, you receive anywhere from 60 edited digital images up to every edited image from your day. Every package includes an online gallery, and your photos arrive within 4 to 6 weeks. Our two top packages also include a printed wedding album, and our top package adds a second photographer.
Our videography options run from a 30-minute ceremony film to full-day coverage of up to 7 hours. Every video package includes an online download link and a 4 to 6 week delivery. Our top video package adds a second videographer and a drone.
You can also add extras to your package, including:
Additional hours of photography or videography
A trash the dress session, or a sunrise trash the dress session
A music slideshow
A video trailer
Drone service
Raw video footage

Why It Pays to Choose the Resort’s Photographer or a Recommended Vendor
When you compare quotes, the price on the page is only part of the picture. A photographer who already works at your resort, either as its exclusive vendor or as a resort-recommended one, comes with advantages that are hard to put a number on:
They know the venues. They have photographed the ceremony spots, reception spaces and garden paths many times, so they know where the light is best at each hour.
They are already approved. They know the resort’s rules for access, timing and setup, so there are fewer surprises on your wedding day.
They work with the resort team. Coordinators, décor and event staff already know them, which keeps the day running smoothly.
Your budget is clearer. Ask any photographer you are considering whether a vendor fee applies at your resort, so the total you compare is the real one.
Photographers who are not approved or exclusive at your resort may face extra fees or access limits, and the rules vary by resort. Always confirm with your resort wedding coordinator before booking.
WBA Studio is the exclusive photographer and videographer at 10 Punta Cana resorts, and we also photograph weddings at other hotels. If you are choosing between photographers, start by asking your resort who they work with and recommend.
